Czech Glass Beads
Czech glass beads are famous for their beautiful shapes, lusters and colors and consistent uniform appearance. Still manufactured like they were back in the 1600’s they are “artisan” made in small batches by heating glass and pressing it into a mold. Once it cools, it is faceted and polished. A popular style, fire polish czech glass, is heated after the cutting/ faceting process giving the glass a smooth and luxurious finish. Many beads have a vintage look to them, like Turbines, Saturns, Button Beads and Saucers.
